Rose Margaret Saladin, 85, was born December 2, 1930, to Alphons and Albertina Saladin in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School then moved to Seattle, Washington and worked for the Bell Telephone Company for 47 years until she retired. She loved to ski, travel, sew, garden and make wild blackberry jam, which she gave to family members. She will be greatly missed by all the family. She is survived by her sister Marlyn Pugsley, 20 nieces and nephews, 39 great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Sylvia Jones and Mary Schmitz, and her brothers Harold and Richard Saladin. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 304 South Adams Rd., Spokane Valley, Washington, with a reception immediately following. Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, 7200 North Wall, Spokane, Washington, Saturday September 24, at 1:00 pm.
